After 25 years the Highland Garden's Dairy Queen changed to A-1 BBQ. The owners Bud and Dale Bethea specialize in Hickory Pit BBQ, Homemade Hamburgers cooked to order, Chicken and of course the Stew! Bud purchased the building in 1978 and along with his wife Dale sold Dairy Queen and BBQ food. Over the years, he developed his own sauce and cooking methods and thus  A-1 was born!  "The SECRET to our great BBQ", says Bud,  is OUR SPECIAL SAUCE ,  the meat cooked slowly over a low hickory fire, and a lot of Love!  So when you crave some really great BBQ come see us at  A-1 BBQ!
